1. Scope and Privacy Principles

ParkDito operates a parking discovery, listing, advertising, and reservation platform. This policy applies to personal data processed through the ParkDito website, related applications, support channels, and administrative tools.

We aim to process personal data transparently, for legitimate and declared purposes, and only to the extent reasonably necessary. These principles reflect Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and its implementing rules.

2. Personal Data We Collect

Account and profile information

This may include your name, email address, phone number, account role, password in hashed form, verification status, and authentication or device-token information.

Parking listing and operator information

Parking owners and operators may provide contact details, business or property information, addresses, map coordinates, photos, rates, operating hours, amenities, availability, vehicle capacity, and advertising campaign details. Approved listing information may be displayed publicly.

Booking, payment, and activity records

When booking features are used, we may process the selected parking space, booking dates and times, status, confirmation code, price breakdown, cancellation details, and payment status or transaction references. Payment providers may separately process payment credentials under their own policies.

Communications and content

We collect information you submit through contact forms, support requests, reviews, listing descriptions, imports, photos, and other communications with ParkDito.

Technical and usage information

Our systems may record IP address, browser and device information, session identifiers, access times, requested pages, security events, and account or administrative activity. Map and other third-party features may also receive technical information needed to deliver their services.

3. How and Why We Use Personal Data

We use personal data to:

• Create, verify, secure, and administer accounts.
• Publish, review, moderate, and promote parking listings.
• Process booking requests and communicate booking status.
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
• Operate maps, search, availability, analytics, and platform features.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and other security incidents.
• Maintain audit records, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
• Improve ParkDito and measure the performance of listings and advertisements.

Depending on the activity, processing may be based on your consent, the performance of a contract or requested service, compliance with law, or ParkDito's legitimate interests where those interests do not override your rights.

4. When We Share Personal Data

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose relevant data to:

• Drivers, parking owners, and operators when necessary to manage a listing or booking.
• Hosting, email, mapping, analytics, security, storage, and payment service providers acting for ParkDito.
• Authorized ParkDito administrators, editors, support personnel, and professional advisers.
• Government authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law, legal process, or necessary to protect rights and safety.
• A successor organization in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the platform, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Public listing details, reviews, and other content intended for publication may be visible to anyone and may appear in search results. Do not publish personal data that you do not want made public.

5. Retention, Cookies, and Security

Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, account administration, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, audit requirements, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by record type. Data may be deleted, anonymized, or securely archived when it is no longer required.

Cookies and similar technologies

ParkDito uses cookies and session technologies required for login, security, form protection, preferences, and core site operation. Your browser can block or remove cookies, but some account and booking features may then stop working correctly.

Security

We use reasonable organizational, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal data. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and notify us if you suspect unauthorized account access.

6. International Processing and Third-Party Services

Some service providers may process or store data outside the Philippines. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to require appropriate confidentiality, security, and data-protection safeguards. Third-party websites and services linked from ParkDito have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

7. Your Data Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law and valid limitations, you may have the right to be informed, object, access, correct or rectify, erase or block, obtain portable data, claim damages, and file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

To exercise a right, contact us with enough information to identify your account and request. We may verify your identity before acting and may retain information when required by law or necessary for legal claims and legitimate business purposes.
